Revenue Accounting Manager
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Do NOT repeat the job title as a heading. Do not put Job ID etc. Include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it. So we need to decide which sections to include.
We have content: About Artera (mission, what they deliver). Could be "About the role"? Actually "About The Opportunity" is like description of role. Could map to "About the role". We'll use About the role
with paragraph(s) summarizing that content (but must preserve all substantive info, not summarize away detail). We need to preserve all substantive info; we cannot summarize away detail. However we can keep the content as paragraphs, not summarizing. So we can copy the relevant text into
elements. We need sections for Responsibilities, Requirements, Benefits, Pay, maybe Schedule? There's schedule info: location-based in-person schedule but not explicit schedule like hours. The posting mentions "in-person schedule that reflects how our local teams work best; we’ll walk you through what to expect for your specific role and city during the interview process." That's vague; not a concrete schedule. Probably we should not create Schedule section because no specific schedule given. Pay: they gave salary range $109,000 - $143,000 a year plus equity. So we can create Pay section with that info. Benefits: they list benefits under "WORKING AT ARTERA Company benefits - ..." plus career development, generous time off, ERGs. So we can create Benefits section with that content. Requirements: they have a list under Requirements. We'll create Requirements section with
- .
Also maybe Qualifications? The Requirements section covers qualifications. Could also have Skills but not separate.
We should not include sections like "About the role" if we already have content; but we need to include something for the opportunity description. Could use "About the role". We'll include that.
We must not repeat job title. Not include Job ID.
We must remove boilerplate: EEO, legal, privacy, security, etc. Also remove duplicated lines like "Our award-winning culture: Our award-winning culture:" (duplicate). We need to preserve substantive info but can remove duplicate phrasing? The instruction: "Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions." So we should remove duplicated lines like the repeated "Our award-winning culture:" line. We'll keep the content about accolades but not duplicate the heading.
We also need to remove "Applicants must be currently authorized..." that's about work authorization; that's substantive? It's a requirement about work authorization. Should we keep? It's a requirement; maybe include in Requirements? It's about authorization to work in US. Could be included as a requirement bullet. But it's also a legal requirement; not exactly boilerplate. We'll keep it as a requirement.
We also need to remove "Unless a role’s posting states otherwise..." that's about location; maybe we can include in Schedule? But schedule not specific. Could include location info under About the role? Might be considered part of role details. However instruction: include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it. Location info is specific: three cities. Could be part of "About the role" or we could create a "Location" section but not in allowed headings list. Allowed headings list includes About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. No Location. So we should fold location info into About the role or maybe Schedule? Not schedule. Probably About the role.
We also need to include the bullet about "Our award-winning culture" details.
We need to preserve all substantive info; we cannot invent or summarize away detail. So we need to keep the details about accolades, etc. We'll keep them as paragraphs.
We must not include "Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement" etc.
We must not include "DATA PRIVACY", "Security Requirements", etc.
We must not include application instructions.
Now craft HTML.
Structure:
About the role
About Artera ... (mission, what they deliver, accolades, etc.) plus About The Opportunity description.
But we need to split maybe into two paragraphs: one about Artera, one about the opportunity. We must preserve all substantive info: So include mission statement, what they deliver, accolades list, award-winning culture details, and the opportunity description (Revenue Accounting Manager role, AI builder partnership, etc.) We'll need to be careful not to omit any details. Let's extract the relevant text. From posting: About Artera Our Mission: Make healthcare #1 in customer service. Applicants must be currently authorized and have the ability to provide proof of full-time, long-term authorization to work in the United States. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship or support visa transfers now or in the future. About The Opportunity Artera is seeking an experienced Revenue Accounting Manager to own end-to-end revenue recognition across our SaaS subscriptions, usage-based billing, and professional services — and to be the subject matter expert on ASC 606 as we scale. This is also a frontier finance role. You'll partner with our AI Builder teams to put agentic AI to work inside the revenue function itself, automating invoicing, reconciliations, and rev-rec workflows that traditionally lived in spreadsheets. We're not looking for someone to "use AI on the side"; we're looking for someone who wants to redesign how revenue accounting is done. We need to keep the work authorization statement as part of About the role? It's a requirement but could be placed in Requirements. However it's about authorization to work in US, which is a typical requirement. We'll include it in Requirements maybe as a bullet. Now Responsibilities: list bullet points. We need to preserve all responsibilities exactly as given. Let's copy them: Revenue Recognition Ownership: Own the revenue recognition schedule across SaaS subscriptions, usage-based fees, and professional services, ensuring full ASC 606 compliance. Contract Analysis: Review customer contracts to determine treatment for multiple performance obligations, variable consideration, contract modifications, and renewals across complex arrangements (multi-product deals, pilots, expansions). Agentic AI in Finance: Design and implement agentic AI solutions (e.g., Claude Code) to automate invoicing, reconciliations, and revenue recognition workflows — improving accuracy, scalability, and close speed. Billing & Deferred Revenue: Oversee NetSuite invoicing for recurring and usage-based billing; maintain and reconcile deferred revenue schedules and contract liabilities for multi-year agreements. Close & Reporting: Execute month-end close for revenue accounts, prepare reconciliations and journal entries, and deliver trend, cohort, and variance commentary for executive and board reporting. Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as the technical accounting point of contact for Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, and FP&A; partner on SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, NDR, bookings-to-revenue). Policy & Controls: Develop ASC 606 policies and SOX-compliant documentation for revenue, billing, and order-to-cash; serve as primary liaison to external auditors on revenue matters. Systems & Automation: Collaborate with IT, RevOps, and Engineering on NetSuite enhancements, billing system integrations, and revenue recognition automation as Artera scales. Now Requirements list: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Accounting Tenure: 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience with substantial focus on revenue recognition in a SaaS, software, or technology environment. ASC 606 Expertise: Deep working knowledge of ASC 606 as applied to SaaS and subscription models, including multi-element contracts, variable consideration, modifications, and renewals. GAAP & Reporting: Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Agentic AI Fluency: Demonstrable ability to leverage agentic AI tools (such as Claude Code) to automate accounting and revenue workflows — specifically invoicing and revenue recognition. Systems Depth: Hands-on experience with NetSuite (or comparable cloud ERP) and Salesforce, including revenue management workflows. Industry Background: Prior experience in high-growth SaaS, healthcare technology, or B2B software. Analytical Toolkit: Advanced Excel and Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data analysis). Bonus CPA + Big 4: Active CPA in good standing, with Big 4 or national public accounting experience covering SaaS, software, or healthcare tech clients. Healthcare Tech Exposure: Digital health background with HIPAA familiarity and understanding of EMR/EHR integration and healthcare buyer dynamics. Public + Private Mix: Combination of public and private accounting experience — technical rigor paired with operational pragmatism. Rev-Rec Tooling: Experience with RevPro, Zuora Revenue, Certinia, or similar revenue recognition platforms. Scale Stage Experience: Supported a company through rapid growth, venture financing, or IPO/public-company readiness; familiarity with SaaS unit economics (ARR, NDR, CAC payback, LTV) and quote-to-cash. Also we have work authorization statement: "Applicants must be currently authorized and have the ability to provide proof of full-time, long-term authorization to work in the United States. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship or support visa transfers now or in the future." This could be a requirement bullet. Now Benefits: list from "WORKING AT ARTERA Company benefits - Full health benefits (medical, dental, and vision), flexible spending accounts, company paid life insurance, company paid short-term & long-term disability, company equity, voluntary benefits, 401(k) and more! Career development - Manager development resources, employee development funds Generous time off - Company holidays, Winter & Summer break, and flexible time off Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) - We believe that everyone should belong at their workplace.
