Revenue Accountant II

What You'll Do

• Aid in the monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting close process for designated areas.
• Create and maintain monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analyses for revenue and accounts receivable (AR) related accounts.
• Handle full accounts receivable processes, including invoice preparation, collections, maintenance of customer billing portals, and reserve recommendations.
• Interact with SalesForce to sync opportunities and set up sales orders in our accounting system to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance.
• Support business processes by collaborating with various departments such as FP&A, Billing, Analytics, Revenue Operations, Support, and Sales.
• Assist with the preparation for the annual financial statement audit.

What We Believe Are Important Traits For This Role

• At least 3 years of accounting experience, including 1–3 years of revenue accounting experience.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Netsuite or similar ERP system experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Results-oriented with the ability to meet weekly and monthly billing deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pluses, but not required

• CPA with Big 4 experience.
• Experience with Stripe, Salesforce, and FloQast.
• Experience with usage-based or consumption-based revenue models.

• Annual base compensation ranges from $102,000 - $130,000 for most US locations and 5% to 10% higher for US locations with a higher cost of labor.
• The job level and actual compensation will be determined based on factors including individual qualifications, market demands, and specific work location.
