Revenue Accountant

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Processes Revenue Prior Period Adjustments by recording oil and gas sales revisions via SAP/PRA for a highly complicated asset to reconcile Accounts Receivable.
• Assists in maintaining SAP master data setup and troubleshoots system errors.
• Reviews and reconciles cash application and accounts receivable reconciliation reports, assisting in resolving outstanding balances by month for prior periods.
• Performs special projects as assigned that may require knowledge of oil and gas revenue accounting.
• Closely works with various departments including gas marketing, revenue, land, division order, production accounting, and IT to accomplish responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years minimum experience in oil and gas revenue accounting.
• Ability to solve problems and exhibit proficiency in data management.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and other departments.
• Good administrative and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in the use and application of the following software: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook), SAP-PRA, and optionally, Alteryx and/or SQL.
