Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Compare merchandise with original requisition and customer feedback to identify reason for return to include incorrect item, quantity mismatch or a defect in merchandise.
- Call or email customers as needed to obtain additional information concerning their return and/or for placing an exchange order.
- Inspect merchandise to determine disposition of item.
- Pull Order up in GQ System and process for credit and/or exchange.
- Completes all forms required for returned goods.
- Pack and label merchandise to be entered back into stock.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with experience in talking with customers via the phone or email - preferred
- Experience with Personal Computer and Software Programs to include Microsoft Windows (word, excel), email and internet.
- Ability to learn internal order management software.
- Ability to meet productivity standards with accuracy/quality
- Ability to communicate professionally
- Sense of urgency
- Ability to follow standard operating processes
- Great attendance
- Work overtime as business dictates
- Ability to work in non-climate controlled warehouse, ability to stand for duration of shift and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, squat, pull, push, carry and other physical actions required to complete the functions of the job.
- Ability to research/troubleshoot and make quick decisions
