About the role

This opportunity entails being under close supervision, assisting departments by performing basic assignments in areas including, but not limited to, Science, Planning, and Technology. This position is usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis. Relocation and housing are not provided for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Assists project team members with various support tasks.
  • Conducts basic research and data collection.
  • Maintains records, collections, and files related to specific projects.
  • Assists in the development of graphics, presentation materials, and reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program.

Skills

  • AutoCAD and/or MicroStation experience (preferred).
  • Strong interest in transportation and infrastructure (preferred).

Pay

The approximate pay range for Ohio is $21.07 - $31.60 per hour. The approximate pay range for Minnesota is $22.12 - $33.18 per hour. The approximate pay range for Illinois is $23.18 - $34.76 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
