About the role
We are currently seeking a team member who believes in the extra mile philosophy to fulfill our Retread Associate role.
Responsibilities
- Initial and CIA Inspection
- De-Enveloping
- Painting process for revitalizing commercial truck tires
- May learn any of the following posts: CIA Inspection, Filler, De-Envelope, Skive, Painter, Initial Inspection, Chamber Envelope, Repair, X-Ray, Buffer, Final Inspection, Cure Tire, Builder, Shipping/Receiving Post
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in similar role or industry is a plus
- Forklift certification, obtained after employment
- Commercial TIA certification preferred
Qualifications
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Safety conscious at all times
- Results-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Coachable, hardworking, and possess general mechanical aptitude
- Strong time management skills, close attention to detail
- Reliable and dependable with self-initiative
- Complete tasks assigned, properly, with little to no follow-up
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Work effectively under pressure and time constraints
- Learn and operate provided service equipment and hand tools
- Work a rotating, on-call schedule, including nights and weekend shifts
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer and/or smart phone skills
