Summary

The position is 100% in-office. The employee will work full-time in a designated WesBanco location. Consideration for location will be Bank Plaza - Wheeling, WV and Henderson Rd - Columbus, OH.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Administers client accounts, including IRA’s, 401k’s, 403b’s, pensions, etc.
  • Administers a full and varied account load.
  • Advises clients concerning the design and administration of employer sponsored retirement plans.
  • Advises clients on individual retirement accounts and retirement planning.
  • Mets with clients (in person and virtual).
  • Participates in retirement plan account reviews and employee education meetings.
  • Prepares and submits required government reports.
  • Keeps up to date on employer sponsored retirement plans and IRA planning and administration procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Possesses strong leadership and accountability for effective communication and direction.
  • Considers and effectively manages the risks associated with business objectives and activities.
  • Operates with moderate independence and resolves complaints and problems within established policies and procedures.
  • May be assigned special projects and limited supervisory responsibilities.

Other Requirements

  • Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the bank’s policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing.
  • You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills and demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to operate in a team environment with the capability to provide coverage for other team members.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office and ability to learn various applications.
  • Ability to learn various Banking Software programs.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, and/or Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of Trust, Retirement Plan Services, or Financial Related experience preferred.
  • Banking Experience Preferred.
  • Customer service or administrative experience preferred.
