Retirement Plan Consultant Location: Farmington, CT Compensation: $100,000 *Must have series 66* Overview: The Retirement Plan Consultant will serve as the primary expert on 401(k) retirement plan solutions. This role involves advising clients on plan design and compliance, managing relationships with plan sponsors and participants, and ensuring plans align with both financial goals and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Advise clients on 401(k) plan design, implementation, and fiduciary dutiesServe as the main contact for plan sponsors and participants, offering education and supportConduct regular plan reviews to ensure compliance and performanceCollaborate with advisors, investment teams, and third-party administratorsMonitor changes to ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations and apply best practicesSupport new business efforts through proposals and presentationsQualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in 401(k) plan management or retirement servicesStrong understanding of ERISA, IRS, and DOL rulesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to explain complex retirement concepts clearlyRelevant certifications such as QKA, QKC, or CPFA are a plus MOHR Talent is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws.
