About the role
Addison Group is partnering with our client, a growing organization in the retirement services industry, to identify a detail-oriented professional for a Retirement Plan Administrator position. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy analytical administrative work, reviewing complex data, and ensuring accuracy in compliance-driven processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the onboarding and implementation of new retirement plans
- Review, validate, and import participant and plan-related data into internal systems
- Reconcile transactions and identify discrepancies to ensure data accuracy
- Prepare and maintain plan documentation, agreements, and supporting records
- Partner with internal teams to transition prospective clients into active plans
- Communicate directly with employers regarding plan setup, requirements, and ongoing updates
- Research and resolve issues that require analysis and independent judgment
- Apply regulatory guidelines and internal procedures to administrative processes
- Monitor records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance standards
- Provide education and guidance regarding available retirement plan solutions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of retirement plan administration experience preferred
- Candidates with strong experience in data analysis, data imports, reconciliations, or transaction balancing will also be considered
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business software applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
