About the role

The Retail Warehouse & Production Associate plays a crucial role in creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This position supports the mission of Thrift Proud by ensuring the smooth operation of the retail warehouse and production areas.

Responsibilities

• Handle inventory and merchandise in the retail warehouse and production areas
• Assist in the sorting and organizing of donations
• Support the loading and unloading of trucks to transport donations to stores
• Participate in the production process, including sewing, ironing, and packaging items
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to provide exceptional service

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Customer service orientation
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Experience with basic computer operations is beneficial
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
