Retail Trainer

We are seeking a Retail Trainer to join our team and help develop the skills of our retail staff. In this role, you will design and deliver engaging classroom training programs, provide hands-on coaching, and ensure employees have the knowledge and tools needed to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales goals. You will lead orientations, provide ongoing support, and create a smooth onboarding experience for new team members. Reporting to the District Manager, this position is ideal for a dynamic trainer who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about developing talent and driving operational excellence. Compensation: $46,000 Qualifications Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screenExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong listening and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who may be disabled or disadvantagedHigh school diploma or equivalent required, or ability to obtain through The Excel CenterTechnologically proficient, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PublisherProven experience in teaching, training, or group facilitation, with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse learners Responsibilities Utilize training documentation to track new hire progress and provide updates to relevant stakeholdersPerform additional duties as assigned by the supervisorComplete required onboarding documentation, including the employer section of Form I-9, and maintain communication with Store and District Managers regarding paperwork and training statusCollect and relay feedback from new hires to improve the onboarding experienceParticipate in retail meetings to remain informed about company updates and training initiatives
