Retail Team Leader

About the role

Work alongside store leadership to provide direction, communication, and training to execute daily action plans in line with Vera Bradley’s objectives and standards.

Responsibilities

• Exceed sales goals, increase store traffic, convert guests, interact with products, and promote campaigns and contests to enhance brand awareness and customer relationships.
• Maintain high standards and motivate the team to create The Experience.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador, embodying and upholding Vera Bradley’s Core Values.
• Aid in planning, implementing, and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Support store operations including inventory management, ordering, training, Fussy Matrix, email marketing, and guest communication.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between store associates and leadership to foster a positive work environment.
• Contribute to loss prevention efforts by fostering a culture of honesty and integrity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, strongly preferred.
• Prior retail experience, strongly preferred; prior management experience, strongly preferred.
• Experience in specialty retail, strongly preferred.
• Experience with retail POS systems, a plus.

Skills

• Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight, hearing, and dexterity.
• Ability to consistently lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.

Pay

Base pay range: $15.81 - $23.68 Starting Pay: $19.00 USD
