About the Role
As a Retail Operations Team Lead, you will champion operational efficiency and exceptional customer service. You’ll greet and assist customers, maintain in-stock merchandise, uphold an organized and clean sales floor, promote the Northern Tool credit card program, sell extended service protection plans on qualifying items, and support the management team with day-to-day store operations.
Spanish language skills are preferred.
Schedule
Mon–Tue: 4:00 AM–2:00 PM
Wed–Fri: 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide courteous, professional service to best serve the needs of our customers.
- Lead and execute key operational functions to ensure store efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall store readiness.
- Maintain a neat and orderly store environment, including merchandising, planograms, product displays, and stocking shelves.
- Lead by example, taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Support store leadership by serving as Floor Leader (an average of 25% of time) and opening and closing the store.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail experience.
- Ability to lead, guide, and mentor store employees.
- Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
- Love of tools & equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs.
- Service-focused mindset.
Pay
Competitive pay range of $16.00 - $22.50 hourly, personalized based on skills, experience, and location.
