Responsibilities
- Install hardware and software as necessary.
- Provide support and troubleshooting as required.
- Train store teams on new procedures when necessary.
- Ensure the smooth opening of new Alex Lee retail stores regarding point of sale, front office operation, fuel centers, payment devices, specialty areas, eCommerce, Catalina and self-checkout.
- Continually improve the overall quality and performance of front-end systems.
- Document systems to ensure effective use and efficient ongoing maintenance.
- Proactively solve problems and coordinate with infrastructure team for remodels, de-installs, and special projects.
- Assist with on-call duties to provide application/hardware support during off hours as scheduled by supervisor.
- Serve as backup for other on-call team members.
- Work with third-party break-fix providers to help restore systems when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or business, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of technology-related experience.
- 2+ years of grocery retail support experience.
- Working knowledge of retail automation applications and POS systems.

- Desire to work on complex problems and collaborate with highly skilled members of the organization.
- Basic understanding of IBM 4690/Toshiba TCxSky OS.
- Some knowledge of Python or running scripts.
- Basic understanding of Windows OS and setup.
- Understanding of basic network concepts and principles.
