Responsibilities
- Arrange, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
- Manage leadership tasks as delegated by the store manager, including acting as manager on duty to handle customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with the sales leadership team to implement action plans that enhance performance and operational effectiveness.
- Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work.
- Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
- Create exceptional in-store customer experiences by demonstrating and sharing product knowledge, making personalized recommendations, and fostering genuine connections with customers.
- Lead and motivate associates to improve their selling and customer service skills.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior supervisory experience, preferably in a retail setting.
- Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
- Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
- Experience de-escalating store and customer situations.
- Availability to work peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
