Retail Supervisor - Part Time (Waterloo, NY))

About the Role

Provide consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA’s Brand Values and service standards. You will be responsible for ensuring the Store consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability goals through effective short- and long-term planning, expense control, sales, and service. This includes payroll control to maintain a highly profitable location while delivering the highest levels of service to customers.

You will manage and communicate merchandise opportunities, handle and process incoming and outgoing merchandise, and comply with all Policies & Procedures, operational core competencies, and key accountabilities. Maintaining a safe, healthy, and compliant working and shopping environment is essential.

This position requires working non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of customer experience aligned with PUMA’s Brand Values.
• Achieve or exceed sales, KPIs, and profitability goals through planning and expense control.
• Manage payroll to balance profitability with high customer service levels.
• Identify and communicate merchandise opportunities to Store and/or Assistant Store Manager.
• Handle and process incoming and outgoing merchandise.
• Comply with all Policies & Procedures and operational core competencies.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant working and shopping environment.

Requirements

• 1–2 years’ experience in a customer service-oriented retail environment.
• Demonstrated ability to reason through complex issues.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office programs and retail software.
• Ability to constantly walk and move about during work hours.
• Critical use of senses: speaking, hearing, near and far acuity, depth perception, and field of vision.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds regularly.

Pay

Base pay for this position ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, plus bonus and benefits.
