About the Role

As a Supervisor at Bath & Body Works, you will partner with the Store Manager to develop outstanding associates, deliver exceptional and consistent customer experiences, and positively impact growth across the brand. Store leaders are retail and customer-savvy, dedicated brand ambassadors who thrive on connecting with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
  • Perform leadership tasks as delegated by the Store Manager, including acting as Manager on Duty to address customer experience, vendor relationships, or maintenance issues.
  • Partner with the Sales Leadership Team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities.
  • Perform opening and closing routines, including bank deposits, receipt of shipments, and dissemination of company directives.
  • Set daily/shift direction and goals for associates.
  • Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers.
  • Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences by demonstrating selling behaviors rooted in company values and elevated product knowledge.
  • Create genuine connections with customers by uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations.
  • Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and customer experience.
  • Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates.
  • Maintain physical activity requirements, including standing, walking, reaching, lifting, climbing ladders, bending, and kneeling to assist customers and maintain store appearance.
  • Consistently lift 10 pounds and up to 50 pounds.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging store environment.
  • Uphold company values, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role, preferably in retail.
  • Ability to thrive in a customer-first retail environment and foster a customer-focused selling culture.
  • Effective communication skills, openness to feedback, and adaptability.
  • Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates and de-escalate store and customer situations.
  • Availability to work peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.
