Retail Supervisor, Food and Nutrition, Full Time

Schedule

7:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday with occasional weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and maintain regular communication with Food & Nutrition (F&N) ordering and production teams to ensure proper inventories and food production.
• Assist with requisitions and daily ordering.
• Uphold F&N and SRH policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety, DHEC/DNV, and all other regulatory agency standards; enforce the same among team members.
• Ensure team members have appropriate equipment and supplies.
• Stay informed of market trends and customer/patient expectations.
• Maintain high standards of quality, customer service, and service recovery.
• Support applicable performance improvement (PI) initiatives.
• Ensure equipment is kept in excellent working condition and the facility is maintained in good repair.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Retail Sales Manager or Department Director.
• Supervise registers, cashiers, and cash-handling systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of foodservice experience in a retail setting with team member supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments under pressure while handling challenging situations.
• PC literacy and the ability to learn new computer programs quickly.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
• Strong computer, analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
• Prior business background preferred.
