About the role

Wolverine Worldwide is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Store Manager to lead a team and drive results for our expanding portfolio of brands. This role requires a proven track record in managing sales and profit, fostering a positive team environment, and ensuring efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Motivate and engage your team to embody the brand values, promoting an inclusive and positive workplace culture.
  • Own all sales and profit results, managing costs and overseeing payroll, sales, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, modeling the highest standards of behavior for the team.
  • Communicate effectively, both on-site and off, building relationships with customers and community partners.
  • Foster a supportive, productive, and inclusive environment, ensuring policies and procedures are communicated and implemented.
  • Identify and implement innovative strategies to enhance customer loyalty and brand presence in the local community.
  • Ensure prompt stock placement and oversee the smooth operation of the store.
  • Manage change within the store, engaging the team in new ways of working.
  • Create memorable customer experiences through authentic and attentive service.

Requirements

  • Experience in a management role, preferably in a fast-paced and client-focused retail environment.
  • Proven sales background and experience setting and delivering store KPIs.
  • Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Passion for Wolverine brands and lifestyle.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage pressure effectively.
  • Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and budget management, including payroll and expenses.
  • Exceptional customer service and team management skills, with a history of developing and mentoring others.
  • Adequate knowledge of market trends in the retail industry.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
