Retail Store Manager

About the role

A Retail Store Manager at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet leads the successful operation of the entire store, ensuring that all sales and profit goals are met. This role involves managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, and shrink reduction, among other key company initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provides financial oversight of all sales and profit goals.
• Demonstrates Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors in providing exceptional Associate and Customer service experiences.
• Executes on company strategies for merchandising, store standards, seasonal transition planning, and inventory processes to meet operational goals and expectations.
• Acts as a “talent grower” by providing coaching, training, development, evaluation, supervision, and scheduling of store associates.
• Maintains proper security of the store location and all company assets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holiday seasons on a regular basis.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a safe manner.
