Key Responsibilities
- Develops and executes retail operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production
- Coordinates with Retail District Manager to develop and implement strategic plans to help drive donations
- Maintains product levels daily to achieve bottom line sales budget against targets
- Manages payroll costs and operating costs to budget
- Delivers excellent customer service to donors and customers
- Maintains store locations to reflect the Goodwill brand appropriately
- Promotes Goodwill mission through partnerships with community businesses and organizations
- Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance
- Serves as a Goodwill ambassador to the community
- Trains and develops Team Members
- Processes, prices, and displays product per company standards
- Allocates donations, Team Members, and leadership to maximize area performance
- Ensures Team Members operate per company standards and procedures
- Manages performance of Retail Store Associates
- Models Goodwill Core Values – Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years’ work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift
- One-year customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid drivers’ license and clean MVRA
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently
