Retail Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of business operations to maximize sales and profitability
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations
• Lead, train, and develop store associates to foster a culture of growth
• Provide every customer with a positive and enjoyable shopping experience
• Safeguard the company’s assets
• Build strong relationships with the community by actively engaging in outreach and partnerships
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and procedures
• Implement operational and merchandising direction that is communicated from our corporate headquarters

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to focus on results and build strong relationships with team members required
• Excellent communication skills required
• Retail management experience preferred
• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. (occasionally 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height required
• Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting required
• May be required to provide detailed background information to obtain licenses for alcohol and/or tobacco sales per local jurisdiction; failure to comply or qualify may lead to demotion or separation of employment

Pay

$16.27–$20.34 per hour
