About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Retail Flooring Store Manager to lead our team and drive success in our retail showroom in Lakeland. As the Retail Flooring Store Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our retail showroom operations, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction while driving sales and achieving business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the retail showroom, including inventory management, sales, customer service, and staff supervision.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection, offering expert advice, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Train, coach, and motivate sales staff to achieve individual and team sales goals and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards to uphold the highest level of quality and professionalism.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the flooring or home improvement industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Knowledge of flooring products and materials, as well as installation processes.
• Proficiency in inventory management and retail operations software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
