About the role
This position is responsible for managing the full employment life cycle for branch operations staff, fostering a positive team environment, and ensuring branch performance meets and exceeds goals.
Responsibilities
- Manages hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, performance management, pay administration, and ongoing development for branch operations staff.
- Develops and implements a KPI plan to meet and exceed branch goals, providing coaching to ensure staff understand club products and key performance drivers.
- Maintains daily awareness of branch performance, communicates progress to staff, and coaches toward desired behaviors and competencies.
- Manages sales expectations, aligns performance pacing with annual goals, and fosters cross-departmental partnerships.
- Promotes staff development and continuous learning by encouraging skill-building and professional growth.
- Ensures a unified and consistent branch experience across all business lines by upholding AAA Northeast standards, policies, and cultural expectations.
- Monitors daily execution, identifies gaps, and communicates relevant information to business line management to maintain operational integrity and service excellence.
- Promotes a cohesive and engaged branch culture by modeling leadership behaviors, fostering transparency, and reinforcing accountability, professionalism, and collaboration.
- Ensures a consistently high-quality member experience by overseeing daily branch service delivery and managing escalated member issues.
- Manages the handling of confidential documents and information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with privacy and data-security standards.
- Oversees branch maintenance and physical appearance, identifying repair or improvement needs and coordinating activities with relevant departments.
- Represents the club within the local community by participating in civic and community events and building relationships with various stakeholders.
- Supports club initiatives, contributes operational expertise, and assists with special projects or branch-related events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 6-8 years of relevant experience
- 6+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a retail/banking environment
- 2+ years of supervisory/management experience
- Satisfactory completion of state-specific and federal background checks
- Clearance to perform registry and/or TSA services as required
