Sales Management
Manages the employment life-cycle process for branch operations staff, including hiring, training, coaching, pay management, counseling, and motivating a positive and successful team through performance management.
Develops, implements, and monitors a sales plan to meet and exceed goals through formal and informal coaching.
Ensures that staff is thoroughly knowledgeable of club products.
Maintains awareness of branch standing to goals and discusses with staff daily.
Counsels and develops staff to drive set results/behaviors.
Stays abreast of all business lines sales goals and promotions.
Helps to foster a partnership across business line goals and initiatives, provides support and direction as needed.
Acts as a liaison with other business lines and their staff.
Promotes life-long learning & development and pathways to growth for staff and self within the department and the club overall.
Member Service
Ensures overall member experience is met by handling member issues, managing wait times, checking office merchandise, monitoring interactions between staff and members and includes servicing members directly, includes all business lines in branch both in person and over the phone.
Delivers accurate and timely information to members regarding club products/services.
Maintains department standards including servicing members in-person and over-the-phone and supporting club partnerships (such as Registry Services, TSA, etc.).
Daily Operations
Ensures company policies and procedures for the day-to-day management of the branch facility, including cash handling and security of the office.
Works to ensure adequate staffing levels in the branch.
As needed, processes in-branch and over-the-phone transactions, including registry services, to best ensure member transactions are completed properly.
Aids in monitoring, returning, and taking phone calls.
Transactions may include the handling of confidential documents and information, inputting information into databases and systems.
Must be able to review applications and forms for completeness.
Oversees the maintenance and physical appearance of branch office, ensuring compliance with club standards including but not limited to PCI Compliance and Audit standards.
Identifies needs for improvements and/or repairs and coordinates activity with Facilities.
Represents club in local community, participating in civic events.
Organizes community outreach events and represents the branch at club sponsored events.
Participates in special projects/events.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or 6-8 years of additional relevant experience
- Experience: Customer Service experience, preferably in a Retail/Banking environment; Required and Supervisory / Management experience
- Licenses and Certifications: Satisfactory completion of state specific and federal background check during pre and post hiring in accordance with state and federal requirements
- Required: Must meet individual state requirements to perform registry & TSA services; including clearing federal/state specific background checks/processes
