About the Role
As a Wild Fork Team Member, your focus is to deliver a memorable experience to all guests. You will be trained to be a personal chef and friendly butcher, developing deep product knowledge to provide customers with recommendations on dishes and proteins. The role includes ensuring proper inventory control, replenishing stock, picking and packing online orders, and delivering a friendly checkout experience. Responsibilities
- Act as a Brand Ambassador—enthusiastic and passionate about Wild Fork Foods’ quality products, educating consumers on the brand’s values.
- Become a product and culinary expert by fully engaging in training to provide recipes, cooking tips, and protein recommendations.
- Deliver a butcher-friendly shopping experience by personalizing every interaction.
- Assist customers during checkout to create a memorable experience.
- Perform stocking duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs, rotating products, ordering, dusting, and cleaning the store.
- Oversee daily price changes and manage the cash register as required.
- Process customer e-commerce orders and ensure timely product handoff for deliveries.
- Work in an extremely cold environment, including pulling racks, processing shipments, and performing monthly inventory in walk-in freezers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- One year of customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant is required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of people by showing interest and listening attentively.
- Work with integrity as part of a team toward a shared vision.
- Demonstrate determination, delivering superior results with a sense of urgency, time management, and prioritization.
- Take ownership and responsibility for success, treating the role as if you own it.

- Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis and resolution.

- Ability to meet seasonal peaks, workloads, and deadlines.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force.
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures, such as walk-in freezers.
- Stand or walk for up to 8–10 hours per shift.
- Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas, and products.
