Retail Store Associate

Store Associate position at Sherwin‑Williams, Store #701127, 1551 Brittain Rd., Akron, OH 44310. This is a part‑time role with an hourly rate of $13.75.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive, trust‑based relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays; keep store equipment clean.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in making deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in‑stock and presentable condition of assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures and suggest ways to improve sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb frequently and up to 70 lb on occasion (with or without reasonable accommodation).
  • Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends (with or without reasonable accommodation).
• Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
  • Previous work experience selling paint and paint‑related products.
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, including Spanish.

Pay

Hourly rate: $13.75 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time position; may include evenings and weekends.
