About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village is part of a mission to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature. This role involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members in one of the company's 300+ stores.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
• Manage inventory, including restocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Handle customer returns and exchanges according to policy.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and manage stock levels efficiently.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $22.40 per hour, depending on job duties and position.

Schedule
