About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
• Manage inventory by sorting, pricing, and stocking items in the store.
• Handle donations by accepting and processing items from the public and nonprofit partners.
• Support team members through training and mentorship opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Previous experience working with donations or in a similar role is beneficial.
