About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village involves creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
• Manage inventory, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and restocked as needed.
• Handle returns and exchanges according to store policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with donors to facilitate the donation process and ensure items are accepted.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Support the store's efforts to maintain a welcoming environment for all team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
