About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at Savers / Value Village is responsible for creating an awesome experience for customers, donors, and other team members. This role is available both full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
• Manage inventory, including restocking shelves and ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Support the donation process, accepting donations from customers and ensuring proper sorting and storage.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of basic computer operations and point-of-sale systems.

Pay

Starting pay ranges from $15.95 to $21.01 depending on job duty/position.
