Retail Store Associate

About the role

Perform general duties of Retail team members. Maintain a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient customer service with an outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Model “CUSTOMER FIRST” customer service
• Oversee and process Website orders
• Ship orders using the UPS labeling and shipping system
• Reconcile cash register tills each night after closing
• Maintain compliance with USDA regulations regarding food safety
• Work seamlessly and collaboratively in a team environment
• Answer in-person, telephone and/or email customer questions and practice upselling
• Stock products in the retail store and maintain display cases in always-stocked condition
• Maintain proper product rotation on product age in retail cases
• Assemble and package Holiday gift packs
• Help with daily housekeeping (sweeping, cleaning surfaces, display cases, windows, etc.)

• Enjoys working with the public

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

• Heavy lifting (capable of at least 50-80 lbs)
• Long periods of walking and standing
• Work in a refrigerated environment

Schedule

Tuesday-Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturdays 8:00am to 2:00pm
