Retail Store Associate - A

This role involves meeting with customers and selling all available products in a consultative environment at a Highmark Direct Retail Store. The position requires extensive knowledge of Highmark products, systems, and resources, including ancillary products.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to store sales by serving as a sales representative on the weekly schedule, including sales of all Highmark core products, HMIG products, Highmark Senior products, and ancillary products (Dental, Travel, Pet, SNPs, etc.).
• Develop new methods and ideas to improve sales and customer experience, reporting them to the Store Lead.
• Execute store operations as assigned by management, including adherence to Ops Manual and SOPs, opening/closing responsibilities, and handling customer service inquiries.
• Maintain high-quality store appearance, ensuring optimal stocking and cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (required).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, or marketing in the health insurance industry (preferred: retail store experience or direct-to-consumer sales in a health-related field).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule of 40–50 hours per week, including weekends, some holidays, and evenings.
• Annual Medicare/CMS certifications (required).
• State-specific Producer License for Accident and Health (required or must be obtained within 45 days of hire).

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
