Retail Store Assistant Manager

What You’ll Do

• Lead by example to achieve sales, profitability, and outstanding customer service.
• Support the Store Manager in planning, organizing, and delegating daily operations.
• Train, coach, and develop team members—celebrate wins, address challenges, and help every employee grow.
• Maintain operational excellence in visual merchandising, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention.
• Partner with the Store Manager to implement local marketing ideas and business strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety guidelines, and operational standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years retail sales/customer service experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong communication skills—able to motivate teams and connect with customers.
• Prioritize problem-solving, decision-making, and maintaining focus under pressure.
• Tech-comfortable: experience with POS systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and peak retail seasons and holidays.
• Comfortable with the physical demands of retail (standing/walking, lifting up to 40 lbs., occasional ladder use).
