About the role

Pendleton Woolen Mill’s Stockroom Coordinator supports all PWM and non-PWM finished product shipping, receiving, and verification. This position processes and follows through with manufacturer claims and store damages, and is responsible for inventory shrink results as it relates to operational inventory reconciliation. This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) based at our Washougal, WA store location.

Responsibilities

  • Process store products received from PWM Truck and/or Common Carrier (transfer of product from receiving dock to store stock room, unpack, receive through RF-Smart, process to sales floor or stock room).
  • Prepare and complete sales orders for outbound shipping or in-store pickup (pick, pack, ship).
  • Complete Transfer Orders per direction, communicate any differences, and partner with receiving and sending stores to ensure completion of transfers or resolution of errors.
  • Review and maintain inventory stock levels for accuracy and ensure proper replenishment; perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments as needed to rectify stock levels.
  • Report all discrepancies through the Claim filing process, review outstanding claims, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Assess sales floor replenishment needs using NetSuite reporting and maintain replenishment directives.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the stockroom, including removal of trash and recycling.
  • Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
  • Provide sales floor coverage as needed during staffing deficiencies and increased customer traffic.
  • Train Ambassadors on sales floor related RF-Smart Inventory and SCIS POS processes.
  • Supervise employees in the stockroom and on the sales floor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent working experience in stockroom coordination, logistics, or order receipts/fulfillment.
  • Three years of retail sales, stock, or customer service experience, including a minimum of 2 years of store supervision.
  • Flexible schedule with nights, holidays, and weekend shifts per scheduling guidelines.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, reach arms overhead, use ladders, operate computers, and perform continuous standing and walking.
  • Extensive standing, lifting, and walking required.
  • Work conducted in compressed work areas with coordinated operational workflows between store and mill.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in retail inventory management software and order processing systems.
  • Experience with retail point of sale (POS) systems.
  • Microsoft Office including Excel, Publisher, and Word.
  • Familiarity with online shipping platforms such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
