Reports To: Pharmacy Director

Duties/Responsibilities

• Processes physician drug orders accurately and promptly.
• Ensures sterile and non-sterile medications are compounded correctly according to established principles.
• Completes pharmacy operations accurately and promptly.
• Uses necessary IT systems proficiently.
• Affirms appropriateness of drug orders and implements necessary interventions.
• Documents quality assurance activities related to adverse drug reactions, medication evaluations, and errors.
• Mentors and directs pharmacy technicians, support personnel, students, and interns to ensure daily operations are completed effectively.
• Operates in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum/Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Program in Pharmacy
• Current license to practice Pharmacy in the State of Ohio
• Immunization Certification dependent on area assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years in area of assignment
