Retail Service Specialist

Pay

$16.00 - $25.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance premiums, and other premiums may be paid per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution of customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Ensure the telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner; contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure using the electronic outside purchase order ledger.
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately, ensuring refunds are issued using the correct payment methods and returned merchandise is staged correctly.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure team members adhere to the posted work schedule, approve schedule changes/deviations, and verify clock-in/out compliance with company policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, including day-end procedures, securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, managing night security lights, locking doors, arming/disarming alarms, and securing delivery vehicles.
• Assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of the Assistant or Store Manager.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts (desired).
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification (desired).
• Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly desired.
