Retail Senior Sales Associate

About the Role

A Senior Retail Sales Consultant oversees all aspects of the customer experience across multiple business areas, including retail, rental, custom, and omni-channel sales. This role also serves as a temporary flex key holder, acting as the manager on duty when needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage as part of a high-performing team, emphasizing trust, commitment, and results.
• Build customer relationships from initial greeting through post-sale follow-up.
• Demonstrate benchmark selling techniques for retail, custom clothing, and special occasion rentals.
• Encourage and participate in team selling to meet store sales volume and metric goals.
• Assist with visual merchandising, store setup, stock counts, and other store-related projects.
• Operate the cash register and handle point-of-sale transactions.
• Partner with store management to lead staff in achieving sales, service, and operational goals when assigned as the manager on duty.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift.
• Frequent bending, squatting, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Climbing ladders to reach merchandise or supplies.
• Ability to see and distinguish fabric patterns and colors.
