Retail Security Officer – Garden City, NY ($18.00/Hr.)
Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong, visible presence to deter theft and ensure public safety
- Conduct regular patrols of the property, including stores, parking areas, and common spaces
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents promptly and professionally
- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures
- Collaborate with mall management, law enforcement, and emergency services when needed
- Complete incident reports accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications
- MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO GARDEN CITY, NY
- Valid NYS Security Guard License required
- Valid NYS Driver's License + Clean Driving Record required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Professional demeanor and a commitment to customer service
- Prior retail or mall security experience is a plus
