Position Summary
The Automotive Retail Salesperson is a dynamic, sales‑focused role crucial to the team’s success. The position provides exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone, aiming to meet and exceed customer needs. Using an energetic demeanor, the salesperson sells the visit, persuading potential customers to engage with automotive services, builds strong relationships, promotes products and services, and establishes clear time commitments between technicians and customers for service appointments. Transaction procedures are performed with precision and efficiency to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Pay
Pay Range: $16.00 – $23.90. Bridgestone is committed to fair and lawful compensation practices; all employees receive pay that meets or exceeds applicable minimum‑wage requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate as a motivated sales individual.
- Build customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Merchandise, advertise, and promote products and services.
- Provide energetic responsiveness to every customer, both on the phone and in the store.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Desire to succeed in a retail environment.
- 2 years of consumer retail sales experience.
- Ability to communicate with and assist customers on sales and complaints to ensure retention and loyalty.
- Problem‑solving skills related to customer complaints.
- Valid automobile driver’s license at all times; ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
