Retail Salesperson

About the role

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) operates more than 2,200 company-owned stores across North America with over $4.5 billion in tire and auto service sales. As an Automotive Retail Salesperson, you will represent the Bridgestone name while delivering exceptional customer service in person and over the phone, building relationships, promoting products and services, and ensuring smooth service appointments. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sales and customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate as a motivated sales individual
• Build customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Merchandise, advertise and promote products and services
• Respond energetically to every customer, both on the phone and in the store
• Conduct transaction procedures with precision and efficiency
• Establish clear time commitments between technicians and customers for service appointments
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Desire to succeed in a retail environment
• 2 years of consumer retail sales experience
• Ability to communicate with and assist customers in sales and complaints to ensure retention and loyalty
• Problem-solving skills as they relate to customer complaints
• Valid automobile driver’s license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles
