Responsibilities

  • Enhance the customer experience while meeting sales, service, and operational goals.
  • Create ideal customer experiences through product support and education.
  • Build positive customer relationships, effectively listen, and overcome objections, while reselling the value of our products.
  • Maintain knowledge of Spectrum products, pricing, promotions, and visual standards, while minimizing product losses.
  • Ensure a welcoming store atmosphere, deliver a clean retail experience, adhere to policies, resolve issues, and participate in training programs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in cash handling and accurate payment transactions.
  • Comfortable with personal technology, including mobile devices and video platforms, and proficient in computer applications.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, and prioritize, organize, manage multiple tasks, and handle change effectively.
  • Experience in goal- and incentive-based work environments.
  • Strong performance in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Effective communication with employees and customers in person, on the phone, and in writing.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills for building partnerships across the organization.
  • Self-motivated, competitive spirit with a desire to exceed sales goals.
  • Positive and professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual: Spanish (preferred).

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay and Schedule

  • Base pay generally between $18.00 and $31.75 per hour.
  • The actual compensation offered will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
  • Additional forms of incentive-based compensation such as bonuses may apply.
  • Commission earnings target starting at $11,232.

Schedule

  • A flexible schedule.
  • Regular attendance required.
  • Physical demands: lifting up to 35 lbs., prolonged standing.
  • Adherence to Spectrum's dress code in a moderately noisy retail environment.
