Cloverkey is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to join our team in a hospital retail gift shop. The Sales Associate will play a key role in delivering outstanding shopping experiences, supporting daily operations, and helping achieve store sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by warmly greeting every customer, providing personalized service, and inviting them to return.
• Meet individual and store sales goals while contributing to overall store performance.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing gift shop that reflects Cloverkey merchandising standards and hospital infection prevention requirements.
• Accurately process customer transactions, including cash, credit cards, payroll deductions, hospital charge accounts, and other approved payment methods.
• Balance and verify cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, following established cash handling procedures.
• Promptly report and document any cash discrepancies in accordance with company policy.
• Maintain reliable attendance, work scheduled shifts, and adhere to Cloverkey and hospital policies, including professional appearance standards.
• Build positive relationships with hospital staff, volunteers, patients, and visitors while representing Cloverkey professionally.
• Understand daily store operations and contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on excellent service and sales results.
• Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous improvement as measured through individual and team performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, District Manager, or Corporate.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in gift sales or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math skills for processing transactions.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and cross-sell products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport with customers.

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 6:45 AM–12:00 PM

Gift Shop Hours: Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–8:00 PM, Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM

Hospital Onboarding Requirements

• QuantiFERON-Gold TB blood test.
• Immunization Records (as listed below):
  • MMR: Proof of immunity by positive antibody titer or documentation of two (2) MMR doses.
  • Varicella: Proof of immunity by positive antibody titer or documentation of two (2) Varicella doses.
  • Influenza Vaccine: Proof of a current vaccine is required, or the vaccine may be received during testing.

Employment is contingent upon successfully meeting all applicable hospital onboarding and occupational health requirements.
