Retail Sales - Part-time Yearly

About the role

This is a yearly Part-time position. Must be comfortable modeling clothing on Ruttger's Retail social media platforms and be comfortable going live on Facebook media. This person will perform a variety of duties relating to sales of merchandise in the Retail stores as well. Such as meet, greet and help customers. Assist with pricing and displaying of merchandise. Keep store clean and orderly. Interact on a daily basis with guests and resort staff.

Responsibilities

• Aid customers, offer information and advice when applicable about store merchandise.
• Receive cash at start of shift and verify amount by counting into cash drawer.
• Record all sales transactions and issue receipts accordingly.
• Count all receipts at end of shift and verify accuracy of all transactions.
• Assist in unpacking of inventory.
• Aid in maintaining cleanliness and attractiveness of store and display areas.
• Check and restock sale supplies (bags, tissue paper, boxes, register tape, charge slips, etc.) regularly.
• Keep bathroom clean and stocked, storerooms organized, dust and clean regularly, including windows and floors.
• Quickly and attractively gift wrap packages.
• Foster positive working relationships and communication with all departments.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous sales-related experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel, lift up to 40 pounds, push, pull, reach with arms and hands.
• Pass Ruttger’s background check.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrate stellar guest service.
• Must have a regular attendance record.
