Retail Sales- Nursery- Part time

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Greet all customers as they enter the store and thank them as they are leaving
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation within the department
• Provide personalized customer service within department
• Promptly and courteously answer phone calls and transfer them to the appropriate person or department
• Ensure every item has a SKU and is priced
• Set ad merchandise in accordance with promotional guidelines
• Ensure price changes are completed as directed by BPM
• Execute merchandising plans as directed by BPM or store leadership
• Avoid the store being unrecovered, merchandise being faced, and product rotation occurring on dated goods
• Assist in other areas in the store as necessary
• Stock freight and ensure adequate amounts of merchandise available
• Absorb cashiering functions as needed

Reasoning Abilities

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Education And/Or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Previous retail experience preferred
