Retail Sales - Men's Apparel - Southpark

We’re looking for a Salesperson who is passionate about fashion and styling and has the ability to cultivate and grow a customer following, both digitally and in-store.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in-store and digital selling with effective use of selling tools (including text and social media).
• Build lasting relationships with customers.
• Provide exceptional service tailored to each customer’s needs.
• Offer honest and confident feedback to customers about style and fit.
• Develop fashion and product knowledge to build expertise.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a customer-ready department, including filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning.
• Grow relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
• Occasionally perform duties in other departments as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Handling bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $12.80 - $12.80 (base rate). Commission varies by department: apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%, while Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales typically receive 3%. This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses.
