Responsibilities

• Set and achieve in-store and digital sales goals using text, social media, and other selling tools
• Build lasting customer relationships and deliver service tailored to individual preferences
• Provide honest, confident style and fit feedback
• Develop fashion and product expertise through continuous learning
• Maintain a customer-ready department by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, marking down prices, and light cleaning
• Grow the Nordstrom Rewards program by opening new accounts
• Occasionally assist in other departments as business needs require

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement (standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, reaching) for 6–8 hours per shift
• Frequent hand use for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
• Handling bulky or awkwardly shaped items, including overhead lifting
• Regularly lift up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift up to 25 pounds

Pay

Base pay: $15.40 per hour. Commission varies by department—typically 3% to 14.5% for apparel, shoes, and accessories; 3% for beauty and men’s fragrance.
