About the role
The Retail Sales Lead plays a crucial role in driving sales and KPI performance, inspiring and coaching the sales team to excel in customer service and product knowledge. This position requires prior retail sales and supervisory experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales and KPI performance through active coaching and acting as Manager-on-Duty
- Foster strong partnerships with the team and leadership
- Lead exceptional experiences by role modeling selling behaviors and building customer loyalty through personalized service
- Share expertise in cooking, baking, and entertaining
- Execute with excellence by overseeing daily operations including cash handling, merchandising, inventory control, and adapting to changing business needs
Requirements
- Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Authentic passion around cooking, baking, and entertaining
Qualifications
- Prior retail sales and supervisory experience, preferably in a specialty retail environment
