Retail Sales Lead, Fabletics (Short Pump - Richmond, VA)

Fabletics is seeking a Full-Time Sales Lead for our new location at Short Pump Town Center in Richmond, VA. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting sales and operations, leveraging cutting-edge technology to bridge the gap between our website and retail stores.

About the role

As a Sales Lead, you’ll collaborate with a driven Store Manager, dedicated supervisors, and a passionate team to help customers live their passion. We’re looking for a self-starter with high energy who thrives on engaging with people and hitting bold targets.

This position reports to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Embody our culture and values while providing customers with insights on how to live their passion.
• Actively engage customers by sharing knowledge about fabrics, features, fit, and function of our products.
• Drive customer engagement through store events, promotions, and community projects.
• Train and provide immediate feedback on our Customer Experience Playbook and performance expectations (e.g., Customer Engagement, Omnicart, Member Chat).
• Work with the Store Manager to inspire associates to meet or exceed individual and team performance goals.
• Communicate inventory and training needs to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Maintain store-merchandising guidelines to create an easy and valuable shopping experience.
• Provide and nourish feedback to the Store Manager to continuously improve the business.
• Strive for excellence in meeting store objectives related to performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to customers and team members.
• Maintain personal sales and achieve sales goals.
• Maintain all safety and security standards, identifying and communicating potential issues.
• Unpack boxes for inventory as required (boxes may weigh 10-30 lbs).

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a retail environment; prior retail management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge and familiarity with active lifestyle choices such as yoga, cycling/spin, Pilates, weight training, running, nutrition, and other healthy activities.
• Ability to socially interact with customers, employees, and business partners both inside and outside the store.
• Experience working with large teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• High degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity and taking initiative when opportunities arise.
• Familiarity with retail inventory and POS systems.
• Self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and an innate ability to bring out the best in others.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
• Flexibility in work hours, including evenings, weekends, and national holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Demands

This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
