Retail Sales - Lead Associate I (Key Holder)

About the role

The Lead Associate position at Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina provides store leadership in the absence of a Store Manager/Assistant. This role requires integrity, resourcefulness, and a passion for a fast-paced, varied environment.

Responsibilities

• Closes store, reconciles cash with daily sales reports, and secures facility for night.
• Prepares and maintains records of store operations including daily sales reports, cash deposits, and opening/closing reports.
• Conducts inspections when necessary.
• Cash register/customer service.
• Receiving, pricing, and stocking donations.
• (Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.)
• Hanging, inspecting, and tagging textiles and clothing in a production style setting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Lead or supervisory experience required.

Qualifications

Must show integrity and resourcefulness and enjoy a varied and very fast-paced environment.

Skills

Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and customer service orientation are essential.

Schedule

Stores are open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 8pm, opening at 11AM on Sunday.
